Frankly, I’m just looking for a way to keep the team willing to show up on wipe-fest nights! It made sense to me until one of the officers responded to the mail with a LOL and “desperate, are we?”. Meh, at this point whatever works to get new bosses down with a minimum of whining and ninja dcs.
Our guild provides flasks for free to all raiders - we have EP bonuses each week for bank contributions so this is our bribery - and we simply resort to humiliation in raid for those who are unprepared. Calling names after checking Big Brother for buffs really helps.
ReplyDeleteAnd if things are looking slow, we award extra bonus EP for those who show up on time and for sticking around through the hard stuff. The result has been positive.
Your idea is interesting, though! I hope it works. Bribery is sometimes neccessary, sadly. :(
