Thoughts, ideas, bitching and bragging about World of Warcraft, raid and guild leading, and whatever else comes to mind...filled with the things Lark wants to say to her guild but probably shouldn't.
At least not to all of them. Not yet anyways....

Psychic Raiders

After my "Dear Guildies" post yesterday - which I can pretty much guarantee not a single guildie has read given this sight is brand-spanking new and I haven't broadcast it to anyone - we finally downed Deathwhisper on 25. Therefore I must conclude my guild is psychic and somehow knew yesterdays post was out there somewhere. Either that or they've decided my threats, if we did not down her, to disband the guild, quit WoW, and go play Sims 3 may not be 100% in jest....

Even funnier, after too many days of wiping repeatedly on Deathwhisper, once we killed her we moved on and one-shotted the Gunship Battle and still had time left in raid to make a decent first attempt at Sarthang.

Some days I really love this guild.

Dear Guildies

Dear Guildies,

I started our guild to progress through end game content with talented raiders. We came a long way fairly fast and achieved successes. We have made the top tier of guilds on our server and hold a good reputation with other players.

So why, oh why, dear guildies are you showing up to raids with no flasks, no food, no reagents? How is it that some of you (and you know who you are) still repeatedly die in fires, whirlwinds, and nasty boss spawned things on the ground?

I look at the damage meters and see the numbers needed to kill the big, bad boss and yet Deathwhisper still lives...after a week and a half of wiping.

And for that matter, where are you? I said we were taking a five minute break not fifteen. If I had another one of whatever you are on I would have replaced you already but the others of your class and spec had other things to do tonight. Think! Please! There are 24 people waiting while you finish your smoke, make a sandwich, argue with your significant other or whatever it is you are doing. Have some consideration.

Here's the deal: If you want to be here and kill big, bad things then stay! Come to raids focused! Be a core raider! I will love you forever and reward you with shiny purple pixels and emoted hugs and kisses!

If you would rather use a guild as the stage for your hysteria and emo fits, hinder other's playing, whine about loot and whether or not you were there for a trash pull then go. Go now. Go quickly. Enjoy your new guild elsewhere where they might find this sort of behavior entertaining. Because this GM is over it.

World of Warcraft may be a game and it certainly is your $14.99 a month and you should do with it as you please but, and this is a huge but, collectively it is the other 24 peoples' $359.76 and we want to kill things! So, get on board or get out so I can replace you with someone who wants to be here.

For those that stay, we will continue to strive to be the best and have fun doing it! <3
